 [Professor Rasoul Namazi](https://scholars.duke.edu/person/rasoul.namazi) (Duke University-Kunshan, China) will present his work on Leo Strauss's political philosophy and Islam.

 [Professor Thomas Meyer](https://www.philosophie.uni-muenchen.de/lehreinheiten/philosophie_1/personen/meyer_thomas/index.html) (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München) and [Professor David DiPasquale](https://www.bc.edu/bc-web/schools/mcas/departments/political-science/people/faculty-directory/david-dipasquale.html) (Boston College) will provide commentaries, and [Hansong Li](https://scholar.harvard.edu/hansongli/home) will moderate the discussion.

 Please note that this talk will take place on **Friday October 22 (rather than our usual Monday)** at 12–1.30pm.
