Carlos Morado is a PhD student in political theory at the University of Chicago. His work sits at the intersection of the history of political thought and the history of science, with a focus on anticolonial thought in nineteenth-century Latin America and the Caribbean. His dissertation examines how forms of scientific thinking were brought to bear on political life across the Atlantic world. Before moving to Chicago, Carlos lived and studied in St. Gallen, Paris, Frankfurt, and New York.
