Daniel O. Oni is a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at The Pennsylvania State University. Oni is a social and political philosopher, drawing primarily on Frankfurt School critical theory and critical philosophy of race to think through problems of racial capitalism, climate catastrophe and revolutionary subjectivity. His past presentations include a talk on W.E.B Du Bois’ philosophy of history at the Society for Phenomenological & Existential Philosophy and a workshop on Plato and the Virtues. Daniel is originally from Lagos, Nigeria. He obtained a B.A. in Philosophy, Sociology, and Anthropology at Earlham College, where he also served as the editor of the Earlham Historical Journal.
