He teaches History of Political Thought and Political Theory in B.A., M.A, and Ph.D. courses at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, in Italy. He is also a member of the Lecturer’s Committee of the Ph.D. program in International Studies at the same university. He has been visiting researcher/professor in European, American and Australasian universities, and he is Editor-in-chief of the academic journal “Politics. Rivista di Studi Politici” (ISSN: 2785-7719). His main research themes are: war in history of Modern political thought; the history of the concept of gratitude and its relation with Western political theories from ancient to modern times, in a global perspective. On these themes he has published several academic articles and three books: *Guerra e pensiero politico.* *Percorsi novecenteschi* 2008; *Stato moderno e diritto delle genti.
