Erin A. Hagood

Erin Hagood is a doctoral student in Modern European History at Columbia University, where she studies the political economy of empire with a focus on 19th century Britain and France. Her current research focuses on the transformation of liberal politics and thought in mid-19th century Britain and France, global liberalism and utopianism in the Far East British Empire, and the emergence of modern banking and finance. 

Erin holds a B.A. in History from the University of Chicago (2018).
