Hansong Li is a political theorist and historian of political, economic, and legal thought, currently a professor at the School of International Service, American University, and a faculty associate at the [Mittal Institute for South Asia](https://mittalsouthasiainstitute.harvard.edu/people/hansong-li/) and the [Weatherhead Centre for International Affairs](https://sites.harvard.edu/wrc22-identity-politics/directory/hansong-li/?cp-dir-id=431) at Harvard University. He has also been a [Research Fellow at the Law School of Freie Universität Berlin](https://www.kfg-intlaw.de/Team/Fellows/fellows_einzel.php?ID=93).

Li's previous works range from legal philosophy, political theory of time and space, and Tangutology, to geopolitics and political economy. His current book *Common Justice*, to be published by Harvard University Press, explores the languages and practices of interstate justice in the West, South Asia, and East Asia.
