Dr. Marina Jose Kaneti

Marina Kaneti is Assistant Professor in International Affairs at the Lee Kuan Yew School for Public Policy, National University of Singapore. Her work explores the nexus of mobility and global governance, interrogating the centrality of mobility in the context of development, business expansion, systemic resilience, and national security. Her current book project contrasts mobility governance of the pre-colonial, Indian Ocean World, with the liberal-democratic system of mobility governance of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. She is World Economic Forum expert on Global Governance, Migration, and Resilience and member of the Nelson Mandela Global Academy for Social Impact.
